tried this... didnt really work on its own, but i combined it with palmers and it made a little bit of a difference, looking for something better... any ideas?

I have a raised scar from cancer removal from about 5 years ago. Bought Mederma 5 days ago. I've been applying it 3-4 times a day, more heavily at night and I already see results. Scar has faded and seems to be softer and not as raised. Although too early to say how well it will completely flatten, I'm pleased with the results so far. Does not smell bad and I don't believe $30 is too much money to spend on appearance. I will update in a month to give better results =)
