The Inexpensive Vitamin That Delivers Big Results!
by Sarah

Country Life Tall Tree Children’s Chewable Multi-Vitamin and Mineral Complex is one of the few children’s multi-vitamin products that I can actually “stand behind”, meaning that I approve of the product and it’s contents. The product is inexpensive compared to similar children’s vitamins, but don’t let its price fool you. This children’s multi-vitamin packs a lot of bang for your buck. The flavors were well thought out, and are “all natural”. The flavors consist of orange and pineapple. The flavors are a bit sour/citrus strong to some children, but most will not mind the flavors at all, in fact, many kids will enjoy the flavors of these vitamins. The value of this product is even greater when you consider the fact that you get 100 wafers for your money, and you only take 1 wafer at a time, that’s over a 3 month supply of vitamins for under $10, which is a down right bargain for the price. The only downside to these vitamins is that they can be difficult, if not impossible to find in traditional brick and mortar stores, but then again, isn’t that why they invented online shopping? What does this multi vitamin do really well? They pack the recommended daily value of Vitamin A, Vitamin D, and Vitamin E into this multi vitamin. They pack a little too much Thiamin a.k.a. Vitamin B1 into this product, so if your child is sensitive to Vitamin B1 in large amounts, you may want to steer clear of this vitamin. In fact, this multi-vitamin packs “more than enough” Vitamin C, Riboflavin, Vitamin B 6, Vitamin B 12, and Pantothenic Acid than necessary, which exceed the recommended daily values by double or more in some cases. Like many vitamins, this one doesn’t offer much calcium, all though it offers more than some other children’s vitamins I’ve seen on the market. This vitamin also provides a very tiny amount of potassium, so don’t cut banana’s out of your child’s diet as of yet. Like most vitamins which contain iron, this one warns you to keep it out of the reach of children. If your child has a sensitive stomach, they may develop constipation from this product, due to the iron, as well as the iodine levels in this product. Monitor your child’s bowel movements, so that you know if your child is maintaining a regular schedule, while on this vitamin. As with any vitamin, talk to your child’s pediatrician before starting him/her on a new multi-vitamin or other type of supplement. The biggest thing that parents should know is that they “pump” this vitamin full of fructose and glucose to make them taste good, not a necessity in the vitamin, but it definitely gives it a good flavor that kids will love.

Country Life is Good

Country Life makes good products for both kids and adults. Fructose and glucose added to sweeten the vitamins doesn't make me excited but my daughter likes the flavor.
