If you are price-conscious AND want an effective F.O. supplement, Spectrum is ideal. A lot of people are comparing supplements incorrectly: I have researched dozens of fish oils, including the brands that claim to be most purified, like Zone, Dr. Sears, and Nordic Naturals, and unless you break down the price by cents per gram, you will not see the true value of the fish oil. Spectrum may not offer a high concentration, but its value is about .25 per gram of DHA/EPA, meanwhile Nordic Naturals' value is .75 per gram. That's a big difference. For a fish oil whose content is so stringently monitored, .25 is a great deal. I highly recommend it.

I have been using Spectrum Fish Oil for over a year and am impressed with the results. It is the only Fish oil I have tried that doesn't give me bad fish oil burps and heart burn. I started out with one and am up to 9 a day and the results just get better.

I love the Spectrum brand. It is the only brand that does not give me that fishy burp up. It is molecularly distilled which leaves it flavorless. I swear by it.

Best oil for the price. Neutral flavor not that sissy lemon rosemary for twice the price. The same quality as Nordic Naturals without the marketing. Check the numbers. Nordic Naturals get their oil anywhere they can, research it. Spectrum is from the North Sea only.

I have used a couple of bottles of this a few years ago when other brands were not around. While you can buy this now probably for less than $8 a bottle, it does not offer the amount of DHA and EPA as other brands. Per serving content of DHA is 360mg and EPA is 240mg, while others offer ~500mg. Also, this product requires 2 softgels / serving / day when you can find 1 / day elsewhere. It does not contain any Trans fat but has 25 calories per serving, which is rather high. You may want to compare these features with other products before you buy.

What fish oil do you take?by Josh
Can you name a brand that offers all of what you described. I have yet to find a brand where you only have to take one per day. All the other bottles I've read say to take one pill three times per day. Would love to know what kind of fish oil you're taking.
