Goatein
by Goatein Lover

I love the taste of Goatein! It is a natural vanilla flavor with mild goat cheese flavor. It is a little hard to mix with water so I sprinkle it on top of fresh or frozen berries mixed with a little yogurt or water. I eat it every day - I believe Goatein is one of the easiest protein powders to assimilate as it is cultured, just like yogurt it has beneficial bacteria for the gut.

hard to stomach

I really wanted to like this, but the taste is just terrible. I tried repeatedly to get one serving down and I couldn't. If you like goat milk generally, it might be easier to handle - I don't. Being lactose-intolerant, I was hoping this would be the perfect supplement, but I ended up throwing it away eventually. The price is quite steep, though I think if you could get it down, it would be worth the money.

not the best...

In theory this is a great product, but in actuality it needs a little work. I believe in the health benefits of goat's milk- my body prefers goat's milk to cow's by far. As a whey concentrate, Goatein does not mix well, with water or milk, and it tastes pretty gross, compared to other whey products. For the price, I think you are better off drinking fresh goat's milk or yogurt.
